![]() I'm not sure if this has happened yet (or if it'll happen at all) but I think the imagery surrounding Cardigan and Willow is the closest thing we'll have. If you're in the mood for some goth forest stuff, I've always been really intrigued by what would have happened when/if TS discovered Kate Bush. Solider, Poet, King - The Oh Hellos - this is way more "folksy" than the other songs, so I'm less confident you'll like it ![]() This: version of the River with Johnny Flynn and Laura Marling Prairie Town - The Wailin' Jennys - beautiful harmonies on the chorus that remind me of willow/ivy even though it is more prairie cottagecore than mountain gothīoth Hands - Ani DiFranco - not really mountain goth but the the melody is appealing to me in the same way ivy is, so it's worth a try ![]() I Will Follow You Into the Dark - Miya Folick version rather than DCFC version Spirit Cold - Tall Heights - This has more of a build than the others, so if you find you are getting bored during the other songs give this one a try This one is less obviously outdoorsy than the previous two but is sonically similar enough that I'm going to include it Like a dreamy, too hot to think kind of vibe. Mystery of Love - Sufjan Stevens - This is more of a summer in the mountains kind of sound. I think this matched up with "mountain goth" quite nicely. Holocene - Bon Iver - I get a driving through the mountains at night and being in awe with this song. Old Pine - Ben Howard - Outdoorsy, sonically similar to willow and ivy (in my opinion) I think this is your best bet If there is a particular song that is what you are looking for, I can suggest more in the same vein.
